The configuration for a group can specify additional candidate time and when this is specified then the checks will be ordered a bit earlier than required to maintain compliance.

This additional time is only applied when there is candidate interaction. If a service is able to be run without candidate interaction (e.g. VEVO lookups) then additional time is not applied.

See below for an example of a subscription which is in a group with a 24-month renewal period. The police check is scheduled to be run exactly two years after the previous result.

See below for this same subscription but with the group changed to have a one week candidate time applied. The check will be ordered 7 days earlier than the scheduled renewal period.
