Connecting to BambooHR

You will firstly need to generate an api key within BambooHR and then create the connection in National Crime Check second.

Generate an API key

  1. In BambooHR click the profile icon in the corner and then choose API Keys option
  2. Click the Add new Key button
  3. Enter the name for the key then click the Generate Key button
  4. Copy the generated key. You'll need this to link the integration
  5. Click the Done button

Connect to BambooHR

  1. Navigate to the Integrations tab
  2. Find the BambooHR integration and click the Connect button
  3. Provide your BambooHR api key and tenancy details
  4. Set up the police check settings
    The Check purpose/reason and Place of work fields will only show up if your selected whitelabel site has at least one forced reason or forced place of work. All checks started through this connection will use the forced reason and forced place of work if they are set.
    The Check purpose/reason and Place of work fields will not be visible if you have no forced reason or forced place of work set in your whitelabel settings. In this case, all checks started through this connection will use the reason and place of work supplied by the third party provider.
  5. Create the required "statuses" within your BambooHR account.
  6. Confirm setup and click the Connect button to link your account
    You can now order police checks from directly within BambooHR.
