Q1 2023 - Domain update
Due to upcoming changes at National Crime Check, the links which are used for some services are changing. These changes include the candidate process, integration dashboard, result verification, etc.
The new domain for these services is:
app.nationalcrimecheck.com.au
You do not need to make any changes to your systems or links, as we will be updating all links and auto-redirecting all traffic to the new domain. The main website will continue to be available at www.nationalcrimecheck.com.au and only the application services will be updated. Futhermore API integrations are unaffected by this change.
Which services are affected
All NCC application services are being updated to the new domain name. This includes the candidate experience for all check types (police, rtw, etc); integration dashboard; legacy portal; result verification; etc.
Do I need to change anything?
All existing links will continue to work through a system of traffic redirects. You do not need to make any changes.
If you are currently logged in using the "keep me logged in" option, you may be required to log in again.
Are the new domains secure?
The new domain name (app.nationalcrimecheck.com.au) will be protected by the same high-level security as the current system.
When is this change occuring?
The change will be made during an off-peak period in Jaunary 2023. The final date and time is not yet to be determined. There isn't expected to be any site downtime.
Are there any changes to the API services?
This change does not affect APIs in any way. Only the browser-based portals are affected.
