Test the SSO connection

  1. Navigate to the Staff section and then the SSO tab
  2. Click on the Test SSO button
  3. You will be requested to log in using your SSO provider
    This authentication won't actually be applied to your session; it's only a test
  4. The details of the authentication will be shown
  5. The role and permisisons will be shown
    Role attribute is the role value exactly as it was received from the single sign-on provider.
    Effective role is the actual role which was selected. This would be the same as the Role attribute if a matching role was found, or it will be the default role if a matching role was not found.
    Permisisons is the list of permissions which apply for the effective role.
  6. Click the Back to SSO Details button when you are finished
