Two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security system that requires two separate, distinct forms of identification in order to access something. The first factor is a password and the second commonly includes a code linked to your smartphone.
National Crime Check recommends that all users make use of two factor authentication.
As one of our setup options we can enforce all logins to use 2FA if the company desires. Please reach out to your business account manager to set this up.
Note that if you have two-factor authentication set up and you use the dashboard regularly from the same device, then you may not be asked to enter your codes every time.
Authenticator app
You can setup two-factor authentication using an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, and others.
